Howard Shore

This three-time Oscar winning composer, with Academy Awards for Best Musical for the first and last “Lord of The Rings” trilogy films, Shore has written wonderful musical pieces for highly remarkable directors.

Howard Shore has created essential musical atmospheres for Martin Scorsese (“Gangs of New York”, “The Aviator” and “The Departed”), Jonathan Demme (“The Silence of the Lambs” and “Philadelphia”)  David Fincher (“Se7en” and “Panic Room) and, of course, David Cronenberg.

Since 1979 Howard Shore was involved in the production of almost every film directed by the Canadian filmmaker, creating unforgettable musical scores for outstanding and everlasting films as “Crash”, “A History of Violence”, “The Fly”, “The Naked Lunch” or “Eastern Promises”.
