Peter Suschitzky
“Dead Ringers”, featuring Jeremy Irons, marked the beginning of a long partnership between the cinematographer Peter Suschitzy and David Cronenberg. “Crash”, awarded with the Special Jury Prize in the Cannes Film Festival, “Spider”, “A History of Violence” and “Eastern Promises” are some of the higher achievements of an exquisite artistic connection.
Suschitzky was also in charge of the cinematography of one of the most popular films of all times, “Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back”, directed by George Lucas.
This BAFTA nominee and four times Genie Awards’ winner, granted by the Academy of Canadian Film and Television, has shared his undeniable creativity with several world renowned directors, such as Tim Burton, in the sci-fi comedy “Mars Attacks!”.
